We are proud to announce that Star Lane Medical Centre has been awarded Primary Care Initiative of the Year and Patient Safety Team of the Year award, with support from NEL Training Hub. 

Held on 15th September 2025 in Manchester, celebrated some of the most impactful work in healthcare. With 456 entries and 216 shortlisted projects, this recognition marks a remarkable achievement for the team..

This recognition is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our colleagues who consistently advocate for safer, higher-quality patient care.

 For weight management medication, we are currently waiting for NEL ICB to inform us of the eligible patients.  We do not have a pathway in place as yet to support patients and so please contact the ICB if you think you may be eligible for treatment. Our community garden project takes place in front of Star lane Medical Centre and we grow and share vegetables. We have over 20 volunteer so please come and join us and learn new skills.
