Ante-Natal Clinic (appointment only)

  • Mondays from 09:00am - 16:00pm (Midwife)

Child Health Surveillance (appointment only)

  • Tuesdays from 09:00am - 12:00pm (Fornightly)

The child surveillance clinic is held on Tuesday mornings for babies of 6-8 weeks, it is run by one of our doctors. We strongly advise parents to make sure they attend and bring your child health record book with you. 

Child Immunisation (appointment only)

  • Monday - Fridays from 08:00 - 18:00
  • Saturdays 09:00 - 13:00

 It is strongly advised for parents to have their children immunised. Please remember to bring your child health record book with you (the red book).

Health Visitor

  • Thursdays from 13:30 - 15:00 (1st & 3rd of each month)

The Health Visitor will discuss and answer any questions you may have.

Family planning

Patients attending without a booked appointment are subject to nurses availability and lists may be closed early if spaces are full

This clinic is run for women and held by our Lead Nurse. We offer advice on contraception. menopause, sexual health and coil checks. We advise all women between the age of 25 and 64 to have regular cervical smear tests.

Patients between 50 and 70 years of age will be called in routinely for a mammogram (breast x-ray). A mammogram is also available for women under 50 years of age and over 70 at the doctors discretion.  

Diabetic Clinic

The diabetic clinic is held weekly. It is run by Dr Fang and her team. Once a month a dietician joins our doctor at the clinic. General advice is given on the treatment of diabetes and special needs of the diabetic patient. The referral of patients to the clinic is normally carried out after an initial consultation in the general surgery.

Asthma Clinic

The Asthma clinic is run by the pharmacist team. General advice is given on the treatment of asthma and the special needs of the asthmatic patient.

Coronery Heart Disease Clinic

The CHD clinic reviews treatment and prevention of further illness in patients with CHD. We also identify people at high risk of CHD and we offer comprehensive advice with appropriate treatment to help reduce the risk.  

Travel vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world. There is usually a charge for travel vaccinations.
